The Entlebucher is the smallest of the Swiss Mountain Dogs. It is
a cattle dog, related to the more well-known Bernese Mountain Dog and
Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, and the less common Appenzeller. The
Entlebucher Mountain Dog is 16 to 20 inches (42 - 50 cm) tall.
They are a stocky, solid dog, with a short, dense double coat.
Tails are docked to a bobtail or left naturally long.
An Entlebucher is not for everyone. A strong dog, an Ently
requires an experienced and dedicated owner. They excel at activities such as agility, carting, herding and obedience.
Entlebucher Sennenhunds are wonderful family dogs. A one family breed, they bond closely with
their people and are naturally protective of children.

for conformation and temperament. Puppies will be available
to carefully screened homes. Please contact us
